Filler, which is hyaluronic acid, is used to volumize the face. As we age, we naturally lose collagen, fat pads, and supportive bone which results in signs of aging. Filler is used to contour the face and restore volume which helps achieve a more youthful, and refreshed look. The common areas that are treated with filler include: Lips Temples Cheeks Around the eyes Nasolabial folds (smile lines) Marionette lines And along the jaw Hands Neck What to expect during your treatment?​ Our staff will thoroughly explain the procedure, answering any and all questions. Topical numbing is applied for 15 minutes which helps to ease any discomfort. The treatment typically lasts about 1 hour, consisting of using a small needle to precisely place the product. Side effects are minimal; however, this is always a possibility of bruising, swelling, and tenderness at the injection site. Unlike neurotoxins, the results are immediate. Aftercare: The topic anesthetic should wear off in 2-3 hours Avoid consuming excess amounts of alcohol or salts in diet to avoid excess welling Apply cool compress or ice pack for 15 minutes at a time to help with swelling or bruising in the first 24 hours Attempt to sleep “face-up” or head slightly elevated for 2-3 nights You may try topical application of Arnica ointment to help recuse bruising You man use oral Benadryl and ibuprofen every 8 hours for the first 3 days for comfort and swelling Your filler with naturalize and integrate with your own collagen over 2-4 weeks​ ​ Is it for you? There is no right time to start getting filler. If you are seeing signs of aging, or just want to add volume, this could be a great service for you. While there are no official studies that evaluated the safety of fillers in pregnant women, we would rather err on the side of caution and treat you when you are no longer pregnant. If you have any active cold sores, we ask that you rebook, or if you have a history of cold sores, start talking Valtrex 3 days prior to injection. Cancellation Policy

 Cancellation Policy At Ivy Aesthetics Med Spa, we want you to have the best outcome possible with each treatment you receive. We offer free consultations to new and existing clients to assess what treatments you are a candidate for. For all appointments that include a treatment, we require a credit card on file. Your credit card will not be charged for any reason except in the case there is a no-show or late cancellation. Please refer to our cancellation policy prior to reserving your appointment. Scheduling an appointment with us is your acceptance to this policy. Arrival Policy If you are a new client of Ivy Aesthetics Med Spa, we kindly ask you to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your appointment to fill out the necessary new patient paperwork. If you are a returning client, we ask that you arrive on time for your appointment as we want you to get the most out of your appointment time. We will allow a 10-minutegrace period, but arrival after this time may be subject to a rebooking charge of $50, or your session may be abbreviated. Please understand that your appointment length cannot be extended if you are late. Cancellation Policy Your appointment is very important to Ivy Aesthetics Med Spa, as your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. We understand that sometimes schedule changes and adjustments are necessary, therefore, we respectfully request at least24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. You may reschedule or cancel your appointment online, via email, or by calling our main number at 952-900-6076.If you are unable to cancel yourappointmentwith24-hournotice, you may be subject to a $50 cancellation/rebooking fee. This includes rescheduling appointments and illness. Should you no-show your appointment, you will be subject to a $75 fee. Appointment Reminder Policy As a courtesy to our clientele, we will send you a confirmation email upon booking, as well as a reminder email before your appointment date. Please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times. This will avoid late arrivals, missed appointments, and possible cancellation fees.
