Neurotoxins are injectable compounds that smooth out wrinkles by relaxing the muscle. The most common areas treated include: -Frown Lines (glabella) -Forehead lines -Crows feet -Bunny lines -Lip Flip -Nefertiti Lift -Armpits for Hyperhidrosis -Masseter (TMJ) - and More! What to Expect During and After Your Treatment: During your appointment, we will create a customized treatment plan that is just right for you. Because neurotoxins provide temporary results, we will create a plan that likely includes 3-4 treatments per year. The results of each product last between 3-4 months, however, this is not true for everyone. If you are a fast metabolizer, workout daily, or take stimulant medications such as Adderall, it is possible that results will last less than 3 months. Neurotoxins are injected with a small needle in a series of targeted injections. Most tolerate this procedure well and without any difficulty. If this is your first appointment, there is a brief waiting period to be sure there are no adverse reactions. Then, you may return to your normal activities with no downtime. You may notice some minor swelling or redness that lasts 30-60 minutes. Aftercare No laying flat for 4 hours after treatment No exercise or vigorous activity for 24 hours after treatment No massaging the treatment area for 24 hours after treatment Avoid putting pressure on the affected area for 1 to 3 days ​ The best time to start getting neurotoxins is when you start to see fine lines and wrinkles at rest. You may notice the lines on your forehead, around your eyes, between your eyebrows, etc. If these lines are treated early on, before they are deeply etched, the treatment tends to be more effective. If you are in good health, not pregnant or breastfeeding, or do not have any neurological disease, our staff would love to answer all your questions and evaluate if this is the right treatment for you.

Cancellation Policy

 Cancellation Policy At Ivy Aesthetics Med Spa, we want you to have the best outcome possible with each treatment you receive. We offer free consultations to new and existing clients to assess what treatments you are a candidate for. For all appointments that include a treatment, we require a credit card on file. Your credit card will not be charged for any reason except in the case there is a no-show or late cancellation. Please refer to our cancellation policy prior to reserving your appointment. Scheduling an appointment with us is your acceptance to this policy. Arrival Policy If you are a new client of Ivy Aesthetics Med Spa, we kindly ask you to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your appointment to fill out the necessary new patient paperwork. If you are a returning client, we ask that you arrive on time for your appointment as we want you to get the most out of your appointment time. We will allow a 10-minutegrace period, but arrival after this time may be subject to a rebooking charge of $50, or your session may be abbreviated. Please understand that your appointment length cannot be extended if you are late. Cancellation Policy Your appointment is very important to Ivy Aesthetics Med Spa, as your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. We understand that sometimes schedule changes and adjustments are necessary, therefore, we respectfully request at least24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. You may reschedule or cancel your appointment online, via email, or by calling our main number at 952-900-6076.If you are unable to cancel yourappointmentwith24-hournotice, you may be subject to a $50 cancellation/rebooking fee. This includes rescheduling appointments and illness. Should you no-show your appointment, you will be subject to a $75 fee. Appointment Reminder Policy As a courtesy to our clientele, we will send you a confirmation email upon booking, as well as a reminder email before your appointment date. Please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times. This will avoid late arrivals, missed appointments, and possible cancellation fees.
