The skin pen creates thousands of micro skin punctures to stimulate the skin’s natural wound healing process to stimulate tissue remolding without causing scar tissue formation. What can this treatment do? -Evens skin tone and texture -Decreases appearance of fine lines and wrinkles -Improve acne and surgical scars -Brighten dull skin -Decrease pore size Pre-Treatment Instructions: - No suntan for 2 weeks prior to the procedure - Avoid aspirin, Motrin, Aleve, blood thinners, ginkgo Biloba, garlic, fish oil, and vitamin E for 1 week prior to the procedure to decrease bleeding and bruising - Stop topical retinol, topical antibiotics, exfoliants, hydroquinone, and benzoyl peroxide or AHA/BHA products 72 hours prior What to expect during treatment: Topical numbing will be applied for 15 minutes to help with discomfort. The most common sensation during the procedure is a warm, scratching feeling as the device is moved around the face. This procedure is very well tolerated by most people. Typically, appointments take one hour What to expect after treatment: It is normal for your skin to appear red and flushed for the next 24 hours. On days 1-3, your face may feel like you have a sunburn, be tight, dry, and sensitive to the touch. It is recommended to stay out of the sun for the first week. Avoid cosmetics for the first 24 hours along with strenuous exercises, jacuzzi, sauna, and steam baths. Results typically appear within 4-8 weeks and 3-6 treatments are recommended, spaced one month apart. Is it for me? If you are looking for a brighter complexion, and to lessen the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, then this service is for you! It can be used on all types of skin. However, this treatment is not for you if you have active cancer in the treatment area, open wounds or sores, a bleeding disorder, or are taking Accutane. If you have been on systemic corticosteroids (prednisone) in the last 4 weeks, please reschedule.

Cancellation Policy

 Cancellation Policy At Ivy Aesthetics Med Spa, we want you to have the best outcome possible with each treatment you receive. We offer free consultations to new and existing clients to assess what treatments you are a candidate for. For all appointments that include a treatment, we require a credit card on file. Your credit card will not be charged for any reason except in the case there is a no-show or late cancellation. Please refer to our cancellation policy prior to reserving your appointment. Scheduling an appointment with us is your acceptance to this policy. Arrival Policy If you are a new client of Ivy Aesthetics Med Spa, we kindly ask you to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your appointment to fill out the necessary new patient paperwork. If you are a returning client, we ask that you arrive on time for your appointment as we want you to get the most out of your appointment time. We will allow a 10-minutegrace period, but arrival after this time may be subject to a rebooking charge of $50, or your session may be abbreviated. Please understand that your appointment length cannot be extended if you are late. Cancellation Policy Your appointment is very important to Ivy Aesthetics Med Spa, as your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. We understand that sometimes schedule changes and adjustments are necessary, therefore, we respectfully request at least24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. You may reschedule or cancel your appointment online, via email, or by calling our main number at 952-900-6076.If you are unable to cancel yourappointmentwith24-hournotice, you may be subject to a $50 cancellation/rebooking fee. This includes rescheduling appointments and illness. Should you no-show your appointment, you will be subject to a $75 fee. Appointment Reminder Policy As a courtesy to our clientele, we will send you a confirmation email upon booking, as well as a reminder email before your appointment date. Please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times. This will avoid late arrivals, missed appointments, and possible cancellation fees.
