Dermal Filler
Filler, which is hyaluronic acid, is used to volumize the face. As we age, we naturally lose collagen, fat pads, and supportive bone which results in signs of aging. Filler is used to contour the face and restore volume which helps to achieve a more youthful, and refreshed look.
Common Treatment Areas
Lips
Temples
Cheeks

What to expect during your treatment
Our staff will thoroughly explain the procedure and answer all questions. Topical numbing is applied for 15 minutes which helps to ease any discomfort. The treatment typically lasts about 1 hour, consisting of using a small needle to precisely place the product. Side effects are minimal; however, there is always the possibility of bruising, swelling, and tenderness at the injection site. Unlike neurotoxins, the results are immediate.
Aftercare
The topical anesthetic should wear off in 2-3 hours
Avoid consuming large amounts of alcohol or salts to avoid excess swelling
Apply cool compress or ice pack in 15 minutes intervals to help with swelling or bruising in the first 24 hours
Attempt to sleep “face-up” or head slightly elevated for 2-3 nights
Use topical arnica ointment to help reduce bruising
Oral Benadryl and ibuprofen may be used every 8 hours for the first 3 days for comfort and swelling
Your filler will naturalize and integrate with your own collagen over 2-4 weeks
Is it for you?
There is no "right" time to start getting filler. If you are seeing signs of aging, or just want to add volume, this could be a great service for you. While there are no official studies that evaluate the safety of fillers in pregnant women, we would rather err on the side of caution and treat you when you are no longer pregnant. If you have any active cold sores, we ask that you rebook, or if you have a history of cold sores, start talking Valtrex 3 days prior to injection. If you have any big events coming up, we advise planning this treatment around your social calendar.
Interested in the 8-point facelift?
The 8-point facelift is a treatment that can lift, smooth, and rejuvenate your skin with dermal fillers. This treatment typically creates a more youthful appearance to the face. Over time, our face loses volume, which may cause sagging of the skin and the appearance of aging. The 8-point facelift is a non-surgical way to achieve the look and benefits of a traditional surgical facelift. The treatment targets specific areas on the face: cheeks, under eyes, nasolabial folds, mouth corners, jowls, and jawline. The “8-point” refers to the number of injections required for the treatment. Each treatment is individualized to the person’s specific needs and may utilize different types of filler to achieve a harmonious and balanced face.
The 8-point facelift will do the following:
Define cheekbones and lift the cheeks
Soften tear troughs
Volumize sunken cheeks and lift jawline
Reduce nasolabial folds and lift the upper lip
Lift the corners of the mouth and decrease the marionette lines
Reduce jowls and sharpen the jawline
